Back Bay Ramblers
New England

The Back Bay Ramblers bring together some of the finest traditional jazz musicians in the country, most of whom play in the New England area. The members are names quickly recognized for their key role in other major jazz groups. The band has a unique sound of its own. Organized with the encouragement of Ed Reynolds, they are primarily a studio band who have several excellent recordings. (CD's) with Stomp Off. This will be their first festival appearance. They present a wide range of tunes that are attractive, often forgotten by the public, but known by record collectors. "Leven Thirty Saturday", "Without You Sweetheart", and "Sweetest Melody" are a few examples. They are truly outstanding.
