Steve Yocum and the Essex Dogs The "Dogs" are back, led by colorful, flamboyant trombone player and jazz blues singer Steve Yocum. A mercenary musician from New Orleans, Steve is best known for his traditional with Uncle Yokes Black Dog Jazz Band. He is one of the best known jazzmen in the business. He now plays on Bourbon Street in New Orleans with Wallace Davenport's New Orleans Jazz Band and Neil Untersher's Razzberrie Ragtimers. He was an original member of Banu Gibson's Hot Jazz Orchestra (Your Father's Mustache). From 1985 - 1991, he led the Banjo Kings at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida.
